I love Dreamhost for what I get but now that I need to run Magento it just doesn’t work. You can only install it after 11pm otherwise the you encounter tons of errors and just can’t install. And upgrades also have to be done “after hours”. This is either because the servers or database connections are just to slow. Either way it’s just not workable, at least on a shared hosting.
